Artist Statement:
This series of work is the result of a process aimed at exploring uncomfortable characteristics of my own body. By making impressions of the body to reflect, interpret, and illustrate my interpretations of these aspects. By utilizing processes influenced by both scientific method and surrealist practice, the work aims confront and challenge personal struggles grappling with identity.
